Pusat Jagaan Padma

Children are naturally energetic and brimming with creativity, finding joy in every moment. In order to provide a conducive environment for children to learn and grow together, Than Hsiang Mitra Welfare Centre established Pusat Jagaan Padma in 2008. At our kindergarten, children receive not only physical training, but also mental and emotional development. Learning in a group setting also fosters passion and love for life.

Pusat Jagaan Padma is located on Old Klang Road in Kuala Lumpur. Drawing from both Eastern and Western educational philosophies as advocated by Ven Wei Wu, our approach aims to foster the healthy personality and psychological growth of children.

With Eastern education, children can learn ancient wisdom such as reciting the "Heart Sutra" and being introduced to practices such as The Sūtra of Ten Good Deeds' Path. The Ten Good Deeds refer to ten positive actions, also known as the Ten Wholesome Actions, which include being filial to parents, respecting teachers, believing in religion, studying hard, doing good deeds, loving life, being grateful and content, speaking honestly and kindly, loving oneself and others, and making good use of time.

With Western education, children develop the skills to think, involve themselves in discussions and express their thoughts through various activities and games. At Pusat Jagaan Padma, we also encourage children to be creative through play, develop a positive attitude, and embrace challenges. In addition, we promote good behavior and healthy habits through a regular daily schedule and provide a healthy vegetarian diet.
